In Indore, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated a state-of-the-art 128-slice CT scan machine at MGM Medical College’s Super Specialty Hospital and a newly constructed (G+2) block at Government Dental College. The CT scan machine, provided by the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, will enhance the hospital's diagnostic capabilities. CM Yadav cut the ribbon for the CT scan room and received a detailed briefing on the machine and its features. The new Dental College building, built to address space constraints identified by the Dental Council of India, was also inaugurated during the visit. Additionally, the state government is installing an OPG machine and 75 dental chair units at the college to benefit students and outpatients. CM Yadav emphasized that these new medical facilities reflect the government's commitment to improving healthcare services. He highlighted that the advanced CT scan machine will aid in early disease detection and accurate diagnoses, while the new dental college building will provide students with top-notch facilities. During his visit, Yadav inspected the upcoming MR-10 ISBT, announcing that it will become India's largest inter-state bus terminal, resembling an airport and serving as a significant addition to the state's infrastructure.The infrastructure is being upgraded in preparation for the upcoming Simhastha religious gathering. Costing Rs 101 crore and spanning 15 acres, the newly constructed facility by IDA is set to greatly improve the travel experience for passengers. With the capacity to handle up to 80,000 passengers daily and accommodate 1,440 buses around the clock, the ISBT will include 14 ticket counters, a 1,000-vehicle parking area, 43 bus platforms, a VIP lounge, a food court, and various other amenities. The Chief Minister also inaugurated a library at Holkar Science College and spoke to Sanchi Dairy Plant employees in Indore, reassuring them that there will be no job cuts. The MP government is committed to strengthening the dairy sector and supporting dairy cooperatives. Additionally, the CM unveiled a statue of martyr Amrita Devi Bishnoi at the city forest, honoring her community's dedication to environmental protection. During his visit to Indore, the CM received blessings from Praman Sagar Maharaj and was briefed on the 'Health of Indore Campaign', which has conducted blood tests on approximately 50,000 individuals.
